Although not a replacement dwelling per se, the extent of alterations undertaken at this project on the edge of the green belt was extensive.
Taking a partly used coach house within the grounds of our Client’s main property, the aspiration was to turn it into useable office space totalling approximately 800 sqft.
The stone barn, located in the grounds of a Grade II listed Manor House, was last used as ancillary staff facilities to a former market garden. The Client’s ambition was to convert the derelict barn into a three bedroom dwelling for his own grounds staff.
Extension works by a previous occupier had commenced on this project prior to our Client taking ownership of the dwelling and our subsequent involvement.
The development consisted of an internal and external refurbishment of a former Kwik Save store with extension to the front elevation and existing shop front and canopy.
